room1Maynard House provides home-like overnight accommodations for adult patients, their caregivers and families, while receiving treatment at medical centers of the NH/VT Upper Valley Region. Illness and injury are stressful on patients and their loved ones. Maynard House strives to lessen the burden and expense of travel during medically challenging times so that resources can be used to recuperate and care for loved ones.

Here's how it works:


Call 603-643-3277 to make a reservation. We do not take reservations more than 30 days in advance.

On the day of your reservation, call to confirm your stay by 10AM. If we do not hear from you, we will open your room to others in need.


We charge a low rate of $30 per person, per night. Each room has a max occupancy of two people. If the rate is not manageable for you, let us know.

Payment - we take cash or check only. No credit cards


Check-in is between 3PM and 9PM. No one will be allowed to check in after 9PM.


Check-out is 10AM. 

If you've alredy paid - strip your bed of it's sheets and head on out!


Weapons. We do not permit patient or visitors to carry or possess weapons on site. Weapons include firearms, knives, and mace. Please leave all of your weapons at home, thank you.

Alcohol. Visitors are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages inside the house.

Smoking. Maynard House is a completely smoke-free and tobacco-free property. Smoking is not allowed inside or outside the building or anywhere on the property. This includes your parked car in the parking lot. This policy applies to everyone.

Pets. No pets allowed.

Maynard House is staffed 24 hours a day. Our business hours are 9:00am to 9:00pm.
The doors have key code entry and guests receive a lock code to come and go as they want.

Maynard House does not provide any health-care assistance. Each individual must be able to care for themselves or have a person with them to provide assistance.
