Dear Friends and Supporters,

We have been closely monitoring the information being released about COVID-19 by state and national organizations. Out of an abundance of caution for our guests, volunteers, and staff, Maynard House will be operating under heightened precautions and in a reduced capacity until further notice. We are open and accepting reservations (no more than 30 days out).

In addition to existing policies, guests will be required to adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Symptoms and Exposure: Guests must self-report if they become symptomatic or if they have come into contact with anyone who has been diagnosed COVID-19 during their stay.

  2. Sanitization: Guests are required to wash their hands immediately upon entering the house, as well as when using the kitchen and restrooms.

  3. Face Masks: Guests must provide their own face masks and are required to wear them in all common areas.

  4. Social Distancing: Guests must follow social distancing best practices and remain at least six feet from staff and fellow guests. The kitchen is open for guest use; however the dining area and lounge are closed. As an exception, guests may eat in their rooms.

  5. Visitors: Only guests and essential personnel are permitted in the house. There are no visitors allowed.

  6. Shared Foods: We will no longer offer communal food products (milk, eggs, bread, etc.). Guests may still keep their own food in the kitchen in designated receptacles.

  7. Travel Home: Guests are not permitted to travel back and forth between Maynard House and home. If guests return home, they must self-quarantine for 14 days before being eligible to stay at Maynard House again.
