Welcome to Maynard House

Maynard House is a nonprofit that provides adult patients and their families with comfortable and affordable lodging and a welcome respite from the stressful hospital routine. Since 1978, more than 30,000 guests have stayed with us.

Located just outside beautiful downtown Hanover, New
Hampshire, Maynard House is a walkable distance to local restaurants, the Hood Museum, and the Dartmouth College campus.

We are also three miles from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and 10 miles from the White River VA Medical Center and from Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital.

Our comfortable, supportive environment is a 'home away from home' for many who must travel long distances for medical care.
